I am currently pursuing a Dual Degree (B.Tech and M.Tech) in Electrical Engineering and a Minor in Computer Science at IIT Bombay. My concentrations are in probability, controls, and AI.
My thesis work is on sequential decision making problems that use variants of the Multi-Armed Bandit or more generally the Markov Decision Process (MDP) framework. My thesis advisor is Prof. Sharayu Moharir.
While my thesis project focusses on mathematical modeling and analytical guarantees, I have also worked with Dr. Leena Vachhani on video-stabilization for a surveillance robot, and with Prof. Shivaram Kalyankrishnan on sample-efficiency in both model-based and model-free reinforcement-learning.
